Just got to wash my Xfire for the first time the other day. While washing I noticed what looks like a stain or some strange substance that was running vertically down the trim piece under the doors, at the leading edge of both doors. I only had time for a quick wash and didn't scrub it too hard. It's in the same spot under both doors. Anybody ever notice this problem? It's almost like something leaked out the door sills at the front edge of the door.

Paint is sapphire silver blue metallic.

 

A friend of mine had this same trouble on his Mercedes a while back. He used to chew tobacco and sometimes forgot to roll down the windows when he spit... The stuff just ran down the inside of the doors and onto the door sill... I know this probably won't help you any, but it just popped into my head when I read the post and I had to share the story... Sorry, but its probably something most really don't want to know... True story! He never did figure out why no one wanted to ride with him when he went some place...
