Exclamation Has Anyone Had This Problem? Reverse Turning To Neutral??

Hey Guys,

I was just wondering if any of you have experienced the same problem I have.

I'll put the car in Reverse to back up, I'll back up, and then I'll press the gas expecting the car to turn backwards as I want it to, and it just sits there and revs. I look at the screen, and it says it's in Neutral. Without me even touching the shifter, or anything. So I have to put it back into reverse, and continue backing up.

This has happened to me in 2 different crossfires of different years. I test drove a '05 Crossfire Convertible, and it did the same exact thing in the parking lot of the dealership. And now, backing up the '04 Crossfire I just bought, it does the same thing.

I don't know if this is a problem on the inside or if I should be holding the shifter while I back up, I've never have to do that.. But Anyways, if you could help me out I'd really appreciate it. =)

Thanks!

I've never had or heard of this problem. Are you sure you're not somehow tapping it while you adjust to your seat?
