Need some advice
This is my first post, but I need some help...
I have found a NEW, never purchased, still sitting on the original dealer's lot, 2004 Crossfire. It's a maroon, manual with gray leather and pretty loaded. Not exactly sure of the extras. I'm considering purchasing it and have been given a 'price' but think it's negotiable.
What is a good price for it? I mean, a reasonable price to pay for a new 2004 XF?
Thanks guys.

way less, depending on mileage. I got my '04 with 5,685 miles for $19,500. I would say hold out for a low mileage one. They all sell for below book value. So instead of getting one with 40k miles scoop a newer one. Not too hard to find.

What a brand new '04 is worth today is anybody's guess.
On one side of the coin you're still getting a brand new car, but on the other side, it's 4 years old.
I guess it all depends on how bad the dealer wants to get rid of it. (and I suppose he's pretty anxious by now)!
Offer him 18K (I doubt if he would take less) and go from there.
Good Luck.

How much for a NEW 2004?
i know how you feel. i can't wait to go out in mine every day and i have had mine 2 months. not a lot of sun here just now but when its out i clean my car top to bottom. mine is black with blackened windows. every one looks at it as i pass. there is not a lot of crossfires here.

Mine is an '04, alabaster white limited with two tone interior, I bought it with just short of 13,000 miles and have had it for 2 months. I'm still smiling too and I paid $18,495 less my trade of $11,500 and adding a 7 year, 70,000 mile bumper to bumper with rental car, I came out OK. I would agree that an offer of $18,000 should be adequate. Same reasons as stated before, this guy wants to unload this car. Don't let him soak you, get the BEST deal and DO NOT LET IT GET AWAY!!! You are going to love it.
I thank you all for your advice and for your answers. I'm looking forward to possibly purchasing it! I've bought lots of cars from this dealer and trust him, I just didn't have any idea of price range or what the car is worth. I'm SERIOUSLY considering buying the car (it would be my daily driver).
