Athough I am partial to red, I saw a new '07 gold Coupe when we were shopping for ours. It would have been ours if it weren't for the new price tag. Nice color. Jedi has the nice one also.

My next door neighbor's new wife has an oyster roadster and she is anything but an old lady. It's not my first (nor 2nd, nor 3rd...) color choice, but any color XF is a nice car. At the risk of offending someone, it's a nicer color than the yellow.

Could you post a pic of the car and interior for us to see?

Personally, the Dark Slate Gray interior looks really good with the Oyster Gold.

I was shopping for one several months back and found a lot of 2008 Oyster Gold XFires with the Dark Slate Gray/Cedar 2-tone interior. I don't think this combo looks particularly good. Looked like Chrysler had quite a few of the Gray/Cedar interiors left over near the end and put them in just about anything that came down the Karmann line.

Now the 2-tone Dark Slate Gray/Vanilla combo in an Oyster Gold XFire (as reported earlier in this thread by Sonza) has got to be rare. I've never seen this setup in all the cars I've looked at.

The gold gives the car the rich style it's lines deserve. Red, black, yellow and blue are all Mustang tinker toy kid colors for sure, and white is the color of choice when your on Social Security down in Florida waiting for Friday nite Bingo to come around. Gold Rules.

Hello. I bought mine because of the color. Just call it champagne like the person I bought it from. Sounds better than Oyster Gold I think.

No one can accuse you of not using the search. Welcome and congrats! Where in Wisconsin are you?
