Smile Micro Rags

Hi Everyone,

I keep reading about everyone suggesting, Micro Fiber Rags to use on our cars. We are a design firm, and have purchased them by the hundreds.

I just called the company to get prices. If anyone wants to purchase 200 of them, they sell the batch for .88 each. $176 plus freight. Ask for Bob. Oh, and these a seconds, but hey their rags, and I have never seen flaws on them. They just might be out of square. The rags are 16"x16" yellow or white.

So if you guys could get a group buy together, it would sure save you a bunch of money.

I have used these rages for years from this company, on my car. When I wash them, I put them in the dryer, BUT don't use any fabric softener in the dryer.

I am not sure what you all pay for them, but this just might be a great savings for you.

Can you give me more information on the composition of the MF? And what application it's targeted for?

Not sure what you mean by composition. Maybe the web site has it.

I use them on my mirrors, windows, chrome. At home I use them for everything I clean. Well just about everything <g>...

Not to change the subject, but have you seen the soft squeegee to run over the car, before you dry it off after washing?

I've seen that thing, not sure if its any safer for the clear coat than a sponge shammie. I recently started to wash (in my clothes washer) my car mitts. Gets some extra life out of them while minimizing scratches.

I would be interested in these rags, I figure I could at least use them for cleaning wheels & door/wheel jambs. Anybody else want to go in on these?

It depends... Not all micro-Fiber towels are made the same, and some can do more harm than good. The jury is still out on this one.

FP... Is your sensitive nose twitching yet?

That's why I suggested to call the guys that sells them. It's a toll free number. I know we use them on high gloss laminates, with no problems. I was just trying to give you guys information on how cheap these were to purchase.

I looked for weeks for them, because our guys do not bring them back from the shows.

Yeah, Criuser much appreciated. I'm going to check into what application they're better suited for.

Hello. My name is Midnight M. I am a long-time squeegee-holic.

In all seriousness. I like mine. It saves on time and towels, and I have not seen any damage to the finish using a CLEAN squeegee.

They sell this rags everywhere? Good for wiping plastics, won't scratch surfaces.
