Default Forum Members in Aviation Maintenace?

Just a curious thread starter: How many Crossfire owners are in the field of Aircraft Maintenance? I work in the arena of aircraft maintenance and I was wondering who else is. I work in the corporate aircraft field of avionics modifications and general maintenance for a FAA certificated repair station in Colorado Springs. I'm not trying to drum up business but trying to find out how many of our forum is into aerospace and other related industries. Just a thread starter to get us talking...

Sort of in the same vane... I founded along with my father, a WWII aviation museum. We actively restore WWII Warbirds to flying condition...

I spent 21 years in Naval Aviation: 7 yrs in Lockheed Martin P-3C Orions, 3 yrs in Lockheed S-3 Vikings, and finally 6 yrs in Sikorsky H-3 Sea King Helicopters. I earned my Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist Wings and made 6 'cruises' on 2 aircraft carriers (Forrestal and Independence). Did not work maintenance, per se, but I can safety-wire as good as the next guy (had to do it a lot in helicopters), flew as a crewman and worked flight deck operations.

Frank: My brother Craig also works for Lockheed Martin (in Colorado) in the aerospace area, and has been there for about as long as you.

I stayed at a Holiday Inn once, oooppsss sorry wrong commercial. I work in Aerospace. I started on the F4 Phantom in St Louis and now manage transportation folks (Fork operators, tug operators. Mobile Crane Operators, Aircraft Movers, etc.) on the C-17 Program in Long Beach California. My dad worked in White Sands on the Mercury, Gemini and Shuttle programs. I guess I have been around aerospace all of my life. I even watched Flash Gordan as a kid. Yes youngsters, that was before Star Wars. I even got to go to the premiere of Star Wars before it was released. Life is a wonderful thing !!! And the Crossfire a wonderful thing also. ENJOY LIFE AND ENJOY YOUR CROSSFIRE !!!

I flew the AH-1S "Cobra" and did maintenance in the U.S. Army back in the mid to late 80's...then I spent many years in Airline aircraft maintenance (with three major airlines) until I took an early out from SWA in 2004. Now I own my own Internet based business and I trade S&P 500 futures with "automated trading systems". I have had both my Pilot and A&P license for over 20 years now (can't believe it has been that long...LOL!).

BTW, I just recently picked up my "05" White Crossfire Coupe Limited with 6 spd MT...I LOVE IT!!! I like it because it is so different looking and very unique...not very many on the road around here!

No longer in aviation, but spent four years in the Navy as an AMSH. Went into where I really belonged...refrigeration...My own boss...I can fix anything.
