Correct me if i'm wrong, but didn't the 2004, 2005 and 2006 Crossfires come with the tire pressure monitoring system if you got the limited or SRT6 models? How can this be a NEW option for the 2008 models?

Unless they mean the new production will actually display the four tire pressures rather than just alarm when pressure is low.

Or maybe the TPM will be included in the base coupe?

NHTSA requires that all 2008 model year cars have tire pressure monitoring.

I don't know - one of the fun challenges driving this car is guessing just which tire is low when the light comes on, especially when its 9 degrees outside. Having a tire monitor for each tire would take all the fun out of that!

I did see the article in the new Automotive News I got in the mail the other day...I was quite surprised to see what it stated. Those sales figures have to include all the employee leases, and does it include all the unsold 05's that are sitting at auctions across the country??? All this being stated, I HIGHLY doubt there will be a true '08 crossfire.

I could believe that there are lots of new Crossfire owners out there. Cars that don't sell at $35k-$45k could sell just fine at $20k-$30k. We've got plenty of new owners posting here.

I have seen Crossfires for the same prices as cheap economy cars, which is unbelievable to me for what you get !!! Love or Hate the car but for less than 20k it is a steal. Plain and simple!! It is a 2 seater so it will never be a family car but anyone that is looking in the Crossfires marketplace and doesn't give one a test drive is a idiot!!

Not to mention SRT6 for 25k are you kidding me!! The only thing that hampers the Crossfire is the aftermarket world. Which you really can't blame the car or Chrysler.
