Default Extended Leases for X-Fire?

Hello, wanted to get your thoughts on whether this is a good deal/idea...my 3 year lease is about to expire, and was contacted by Chrysler about extending my lease for another year...don't have all of the specifics yet, but they are apparently offering about $80 per month less than what I am paying now, though I would not have the bumper to bumper warranty I reckon. I figure this is a good plan B assuming I do not get around to leasing another vehicle.

Thanks,
Mike

I looked into that, but I was on the promotional $299/mo 39 month lease. For an extra 12 months, which is the minimum term you can extend it for, I want to say it went up $15-20/mo or something negligible.

Instead I turned it in early last Saturday, one month early, and did a 24 mo lease on a Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland 4X2. Zero down payment is $561/mo.

I'm probably one of the few who is glad his Crossfire is gone. I just hope my servicing dealer can handle the Jeep.
