Default 2005 crossfire with 8,500 miles - need help

We finally traded in the Sebring and got a white convertible. It was a rental return and after 100 miles we stopped for dinner and had to get jumped.
Its Sunday so I can't get it checked.

Do you think it's the battery - could be three years old - or alternator. Also noticed a slight burning rubber smell - belt?

What needs to be checked on these low mileage cars that have been sitting who knows where?

This is still my favorite car ever. Thanks for your help and thanks for this forum.

Ed

Have the battery checked. Mine ended up having a dead cell. It would run fine for a while and then be dead out of the blue.
