Cool Stupid Question

Ok so here it goes.

Why is that the switch for the windows are opposite. Like if i want to put the window down I have to press it up, and if I want it up I gotta hit the down button.

Is this how they all are, cause I feel like maybe my wires are hooked up weird.

Let me know please cause everytime I'm driving I have to keep reminding myself to use the opposite switches.

Do a search - this has come up before.
Mine are not that way.

Just from memory I don't think mine are either. If I want to lower them I hit the bottom part of the toggle switch, to raise them I hit the top.

Pop up the panel and rotate the switches. That should fix it.

Then the symbol will be upside down (assuming it's the correct way up now).
I don't know what the connection looks like, maybe you can get the connectors the wrong way round.

My 2004 coupe was "backwards", my 2005 SRT is not...go figure.

My 2004 is the right way, but I imagine it would be an easy fix - the panels would be easy to pop up.

I had to go and look, but mine are correct. Push the bottom of the switch and the window goes down. Push the top of the switch, the window goes up. Maybe I should change the wiring just to freak out my wife the next time she runs off with the FX... Might be kind of fun!

Now that I'm thinking about it, I may just swap the buttons so the they operate the opposite windows... Plus make em go the wrong direction... That may be a little more fun...
