Something I found on YouTube.
I found this and I was speechless. I could not believe the things he was saying. See what you think.

(Another reason for us (US-A) to leave the Mother-Land)!
He hated the car before he even got in!!! How can you convince someone to like a car when they don't care either way? I will keep my Crossfire and would never trade it for a Toyota or Mazda (No offense to anyone who owns these cars). Thanks for sharing this vid!

Well Clarkson has a big reputation here in the UK for his reporting style which leans towards the ironic side of British humor. He writes in the weekend papers with his acerbic wit. Long time presenter of Top Gear he has become a bigot towards anything that has less than 400 hp.
Frankly his driving skills are only a 10th of the old presenter Tiff Needel ex racing driver. He hates all Porche's. Loves BMW's and vacillates on his Merc's.
Unfortunately a lot of TV in this country is sensationalized by this sort of thing and style to get viewers. He will have been irritated by the price. £27K is $50K on current exchange rates so a lot a dough when new.
The reality is the chassis is fantastic on our roads once you are used to it. The are pretty rare here and so now its cheap exclusivity- of course once he realizes this he will love the car as a second hand investment - watch this space!

If you look at another episode of Top Gear, they test the XF against a 350z and an audi tt. He picks the xf over the other two!!!

He has quite a collection which frequently changes depending on who he's in favor with. His wife famously said he's like living with a 10 year old child. He had a ride in an F15 one time and purchased an English Electric Lightning which was craned onto the lawn of his small mansion in the Cotswolds. BMW M5 is he choice for the road but he also owns some Astons.
I happen to be a huge Top Gear fan and love Clarkson's wit and sense of humor. But if you take him seriously all the time you'll end up hating the guy. In his "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" special from a year ago he drove a bunch of cars here in SoCal at WillowSprings Raceway and basically panned any and all American iron. But he did stupid stuff - like the 4X4 off-road comparo that pitted a Range Rover against a Hummer H2 and a Cadillac Escalade of all things!!! Who takes a "Slade with 24" chrome wheels off-roading??? I'd venture to guess that it has NEVER even been attempted. In the end the Range Rover proved to be the best of the three, but Clarkson said that the American's couldn't build a proper off roader. Hey Jeremy, ever hear of the Jeep Grand Cherokee? Wrangle Rubicon? Didn't think so.
Oh, and when he decided to flog a pickup truck around WillowSprings, and then bash it's handling prowess, he chose a Dodge Ram 1500. Gee, that didn't handle??? Big shock there!! But, had he driven a Dodge Ram SRT10 he would have been, to use his favorite word, astonished. Sure, it's still a truck, but around WillowSprings on a fairly recent track day with Car & Driver magazine it was only slower than a Ferrari F430. And at the end of the day you can load all the hay bales in it and take them back to the farm.
Mostly though, I'm just glad the Hamster survived. (if that means nothing to you, you're not a Top Gear fan, nor would the fact that I own a T-Shirt that reads "I am the Stig").

- the technology is fun but aging.
No one believes anything that doesn't confirm what they already believe anyway...
The xfire is something you love or hate and all the bashing I found about the car was real crap after owning it I still dont understand any problems at all with the car.

I only have one question of our european members who know of this guy...Does he think the early Jaguar E-type cars look like a squatting dog as well, or is he two faced enough to own 2 or 3 of them simply because of their lineage?
i saw that video the day after i got my xfi, it made me sick, i thought i messed up big time... but then on another video he drives a convertible and was happy with it.

There have been some previous threads where this joker has been proved to suck..."See-lick-a" indeed, ba$$tard should at least know how the title of the car is said.
