just remember the TT was introduced way before the XF, and the XF actually stole some cues from the original TT...

Yes but thankfully they didn't steal the wrong-wheel-drive/excessive front overhang/awkward proportions of the TT...

True... I guess I'm just looking at it from a XF owner's perspective. I didn't think the XF was a near carbon copy of the first TT though.

Seen the new Lexus IS300 series? They're just as lumpy and misshapen as the Banglelized BMWs. Imitating the competitor's style is standard industry practice.

hmmm, the new TT actually makes the Crossfire look a bit dated... I still think the Crossfire is classier though.

The new TT is beautiful - I like it far better than the 1st gen. Xfire is still better looking, though. IMO.

I'll have to disagree. The styling is based on some 1930's art deco cues, so dated could be an under statement. The XFire didn't really follow any trends, so it should look unique and interesting for years. It is one of those rolling concept cars that only come along once in a while.

Some similarities, but the critical design elements are not similar at all. Looks like two completely different cars to me.
