So I think my car is as much of a boy magnet as it is a chick magnet for you gentlemen. Cause my ZX2 certainly didn't get me this much attention.

Every time I stop at a traffic light, they look. If I have my windows down, they whistle. And just today at a traffic light I had my girlfriend in the car, and the man next to me - in a falling apart old Ford pickup - started yelling at me that my car was nice and asking how fast it went. I said thank you and told him to watch my dust as I took off when the light turned green.

Then you have the little Honda boys that get soooo pissed off when a "skirt" dusts them.

I love my car.

 

Sounds like your getting quite accustomed to your XFire!

Have you had any luck with getting hooked up with other Xfire's in your area?

That makes me think of supras... you never know what the hell they are running in there so it's best not to mess...


By the way I am glad you are using the car to it's max potential.

 

Yeah I had a Supra RAPE ME on the highway the other day... Come to find out it had a T-88 Single Turbo, Built motor and pushing 759 HP on 93 Octane, and 908 on 110 Octane. I didn't feel so bad at that point... So, I got beat by a 10 second Supra, it happens.

And yes, it looked stock except for the wheels and exhaust.

 

than there are many supras that are so damn sluggish... it is just a chance thing not worth taking... I ignore them...

 

And all Supras are ugly.

Have you installed a sprint booster yet? It sounds like you like to drive somewhat aggressively as I do and I just recently got and installed a sprint booster and it really makes a difference.
Much quicker response when accelerating especially at slower speeds.

 

can you post some info on your sprint booster? where you got it, cost, all that jazz?

while we're on the subject, i had a cobalt ss walk off on me the other day, although he got the jump, i don't think i could have done much anyway.

 

I haven't, but I sure plan to. There are so many fun things I can do to this car, as fast as she already is, I want more. I am a demon on the roads.

And I haven't found any other local Xfires yet...I mean, I have seen a couple, but only on the road, never where we can speak. I keep hoping one will find me, because whenever I happen to pass one on the road they practically fall out waving at me. This car is rare enough around here that seeing another one is a novelty.
