Default painted stock grill

hey everyone just wanted to post some pics of the new painted grill. for those of you who don't know we are blacking the whole car out (vadering the car). i hope you all enjoy i'll take more pics tomorrow in the morning day light. blacked out tail lights and side markers and smoked headlights coming later this week. a lot more new pics at the bottom.

Whoa! That looks so cool! Can you get an outside pic before the smoked headlights too?

I'm thinking that I'll be looking for a spare grill...

That looks pretty sinister and definitely works with the car...

But for me it looks a little too Dodge-y.

i'm glad you all like. i see what you mean about the dodge look but then again my last 5 cars before the x fire where dodge's. i got some new pics of it in the day. i'll have them up with in a few hours.

Looks pretty classy in the daylight... almost thought it was too much in the garage light though... almost disappeared.

wow this forum is so different then the srt forums i came from. i'm not use to no one talking bad about what you have done. thank you all. well any ways i finally finished painting the tail lights. i'm gonna let em cure for like a week and then buff em but hope you all enjoy and your getting some ideas of what or what not to do.

Can you tell us what the process is to paint the tail lights and headlights to give it the "smoked" look?

yes the paint process for smoking the lights is really easy. its a paint called vht night shades. you can by it on ebay for like $9 a can. its really easy to use. just clean the light really well and paint light even coats. there is no sanding or anything. you can leave them as is or do what i did and put a few coats of clear so that you can buff it to a high gloss. i actually did like 4 more coats on the lights after i took the pics due to how much light they some how still let out. i'm doing the side markers today and the headlights soon. hope that helps pm me if you need more info.
