Default Tail Light / Head Light Smoked on a Graphite Coupe?

So I have a graphite coupe and I like the look of the smoked tail light and headlights on the black coupes, but I'm unsure about how it would look on a graphite Xfire. Does anyone have any pics of what this might look like? I'm leaning towards the 38% smoked look, because I think the black out look might look too akward on a lighter colored vehicle. Any advice?

I did 38% on mine i did not end up liking the way it looked on the tail lights. I left the tint on the corner lenses and it looks really good. But It took away form the uniqueness of the taillights. As for the headlight and fog lamps I will be doing it later this week I will post some pics...

Thanks, so your advice would be to only do the front headlights and fog lamps then...I'll wait to see pictures to see what it looks like. Please do post them!

I think that the Graphite coupe will look good with the tinted front head lamps, you could do the fogs but its not necessary really since they are lower and set back from the bumper (not as noticeable). Believe it or not I bought them for my Sapphire coupe to cover up some plastic lense haze that I couldn't get rid of. It looks good! Gives the car a more sinister appearance. I got 38% tints. Unless you HIDs I wouldn't go any darker because it does noticeably dim the lights (and I have sylvania silver stars). The tail lights I didn't do on my car, it was unnecessary for me and would not go with my color. With graphite I bet you could pull it off but I don't know if it would be wise. The reason the headlamp tints go well with the XFire is because the lamps are recessed so that they line up smoothly with the sheet metal (I saw a red coupe with the tints, looked great). The taillights however bulge out slightly and I think wouldn't look quite as stylish. I don't have any pics at the moment of my car with the tints on, sorry!

That sounds pretty cool. I'd like to see pictures, also.

Back from the dead!

The OP pretty much asked the same question I was going to. I saw an audi yesterday with a graphite metallic looking color that had smoked tail lights and I LOVED the look. I wish I could have asked him what % he went with.

I'm not interested in smoking the headlights or fogs, but for those of you with graphite metallic xfires and smoked tail lights, would you PLEASE share your pictures!? I would like to see what this looks like.

Thanks!
