Default Reliability

Hey guys I'm new and looking into a Xfire, was wondering how well the car stays away from the repair shop? I need a DD, and wondering how the reliability is, and fuel mileage while we're at it. I've looked at numbers, but I want better details. Thanks

Bought mine used, I have out 4,000 miles on and nothing is an issue, car has 32,000 on it and prior owner had everything - he changed the oil. Mileage at 75 on the highway - about 27 around town - no idea
Get a warranty - you are buying a Mercedes - German cars are not cheap to fix, - Audi; Bimmers or a Mercedes - all are pricey. Only thing I have had to do is change tires - they are NOT cheap - low end about $950. and you could go over 2 grand for a set. I have a 05 roadster - am enjoying the car.

I have only had tire troubles. Get a road hazard warranty form Discount Tire.

My dealer (service guy) says that the Crossfire is one of the more reliable cars they service. I have had the following "known" issues:
• Seat heater - drivers bottom
• Tiny leak from transmission drain plug
Other than that only 2 scheduled oil changes. It's been wonderful. I do worry when my warranty goes out if I can afford the repairs. It comes with the territory. I love the car. I'll deal with it.

I have an 04 Coupe. I bought it with 17000 miles on it. Previous owner had no issues with the car and I have put 9000 more miles on it in 6 months and have had no issues either. I love this car and it has been very enjoyable and dependable !!

Not a very good daily driver, I wouldn't suggest it. It is cramped (not too bad for a small sports car though), maint. can be expensive (though you can save money by doing some of it yourself), gas milage is terrible (SRT6 at least), and I couldn't bear driving it in poor weather, I'd be too worried about it getting dirty and/or scratched and dented. :-) I wouldn't recommend any 2 seat sports car for a DD. That's why I drive my ol' Ford pickup most of the time. Best 7 grand I ever spent!
