What do you think of attaching a Mercedes Emblem under the Chrysler logo on the back?
Since it is part Mercedes, Just wondering what you guys think.

I agree. If you want to make reference to the MB relationship, you can custom make a license plate holder that say something to that effect. VALKRYDERGUY has one that says 'It's really a Mercedes'. I was toying with the idea of getting one that says 'Benz - Inside'.

I can see replacing it, but not having both.

Andrew sells some nice decals. Maybe those would appeal to you...

Thumbs up Re: Mercedes Emblem

I agree, FP's design is excellent. Converting the design to include both logos is smart and looks great!
Well done!

If you guys are interested, you might want to check with Andrew and see if he can add this design on his logo options. Mine is just a photoshop. I think SRT6 DAN posted recently saying he could do custom badges. See this link.

Don't do it. I would say that is almost as bad as putting SRT6 on a N/A not that you need to worry about what anyone else thinks but JUST cause it is mercedes born it will never be a mercedes.

I think you will embarrass other Crossfire owners if you do it.

I don't care how much MB parts the car is loaded with, it's a Chrysler Concept and Design, not MB. Appreciate it for what is and if you want a Mercedes that bad, then go buy one because a $20 badge will make you look like a fool.

Anyone else in agreement?

It's simple; you are correct.

I say go ahead if you want! Remove or cover the Chrysler stuff and change them all to MB symbols. Most people won't be any wiser. I think the photo shop mock up looked awesome.
I asked Andrew previously about MB symbols but he didn't seem interested in making them because no one else had ever asked him.
I for one, get tired of peoples reaction of dissapointment when I tell them it's a Chrysler. So, I say convert it all to MB, even change the wheels if you like. MB wheels will fit our cars.

They think that adding the MB badge anywhere on the car should give you 15-20 HP at the rear wheels, attract more women and get them a membership at the country club but at the same time making their ***** 3-4 inches shorter. I guess some people can live with that trade off.

The design of the car is beautiful and people forget that was a halo car for Chrysler which influenced the designs of thier entire Chrysler branded line up.

I give them a lot of credit for building a car with bold styling that cannot be compared to anything else on the road and at the same time, we should remember that MB loved the design so much that they wanted to build it themselves and associate thier engineering with it.

Adding an MB badge is as stupid as buying a Pontiac Vibe and rebadging it with Toyota Matrix decals. It says to be that you are embarassed to drive a Chrysler product.

Everyone here is entitled to there opinion and that is fine. Last time I checked my pen*s was the same size after re badging my Crossfire. Have any other members here that have re badged their Crossfire experienced pen*s shrinkage?

LOL What happens to the women that rebadge their car ??

You're right, everyone is entitled to thier opinion and they can do whatever they want to thier car. But since Crossfire is generally a rare car, why do you have to modify the looks (except for wheels) to make it stand out.

Does it make you feel better seeing an MB badge on your car?

Why stop at the car then? Do your wear MB Golf Shirts? When you cruise around town are you were your MB baseball cap?

I'm going to tell the 300C owners to slap a "geared by Mercedes" on thier cars since they transmissions on the 300's are from MB as well.

Some people buy the Crossfire because they love it and some buy because they couldn't afford an MB. Everyone has thier reasons.
