Default Luggage space / SRT 6 roadster

I'm considring upgrading my Limited to SRT 6 but I despite the appearance of the rear spoiler on the SRT coupe. However, I find the rear spoiler blend in beautifully on a SRT roadster. The only concern I have is that with the convertible, there is probably no trunk space left whatsoever for a weekend get away. Can anybody advise or post a picture of luggage space on a roadster. Thank you.

With the top up there is quite a bit of room in the trunk - more than plenty for two people on a long weekend. Top down you definitely need to pack light and make use of soft sided luggage - duffel bags for sure.

I recently did a track day weekend and travelled both directions top down. Now, I was by myself but even with the top down I managed to stuff in a folding chair in it's own stuff sack, my suitcase, my laptop case (which is fairly large in its own right), a small cooler (6 pack size thing) and an additional small duffel bag with my detailing supplies. The only thing I needed to put on the passenger floor in the cockpit was my helmet bag. Had I travelled top up then everything would have fit in the trunk with plenty of room left over for another person's luggage.

Thumbs down Re: Luggage space / SRT 6 roadster

I looked at both coupe and roadster before I bought. With the top down, I could'nt see any room for any kind of suitcase of any size. The top takes up the entire trunk. I KNOW that my wife and I could not go anywhere for any time with a roadster. Just my 02.

On our last trip to Pa. my wife and I fit two chairs a lap top a cooler and enough clothes for a week in the trunk with the roof down.
It's all in knowing how to pack. This car has more room then my '71 vette did.

Well I did take my wife out to Colorado in 1976 in my 1971 Corvette. But it had a luggage rack on the back.

Cool Re: Luggage space / SRT 6 roadster

If you use the "Touring Gear" that comes with the car and pack it carefully it all will fit in the trunk...and you will be able to operate the top.

Don't use luggage!

Use gym bags.

Wife and I many trips...for a weekend or a week!
Pack the trunk like its a dresser and then lay a bag on top.
Then as you unload you pack the bag and take your stuff inside.
I just keep my trunk clean and then the clothes stay clean.
Showed my wife that...and now she can still bring stuff she will never wear!
Shirts you move the seat forward on the passenger side hang the hooks from the headrest snap at the back and then move the seat back.
Good ta go!
