I am a new owner of new '06 roadster and am still trying to familiarize myself with the car. On the left side of the trunk are indentations holding the jack and tire inflation equipment; on the right side, there is a single indentation that is empty on my car. Could some one tell what was intended to be stored there? Thanks.

My 04 had nothing in this place as well. I use it for car maintenance stuff such as detail spray and microfiber towels etc.

 

This space was provided FOR a first aid kit, which I think is required to be provided in europe.

Replace First Aid Kit with a "Tire First Aid Kit".....Good tire plug kit, a pair of good needle nose pliers, a good analog tire gauge, package of disposable gloves and road flares. Put these items in the area where the first aid kit should go.

 

Thanks to all who responded. I bought the last of a group of about 25 06's the dealer purchased some time ago and some items had been scavaged from it... i.e. warrentry documentation, owner's booklet on navigation radio ( I'm still trying to figure out how to switch from FM to Am), etc. If something was missing, wanted to bring to dealer's attention. Dealer has promised to replace, but time will tell.

 

I have my Benz first aid kit and a slim jim there

 

Slim Jim must be for getting into other cars, cause if you have it for your car, you wont needed once you get your hands on it.

 

I use too repo cars, in Fort lauderdale, its a habit for me to keep one if someone gets locked out of the car.....

 

When my 2004 was delivered new the manual and warranty books were in that pocket in the trunk floor. I put them in the glove compartment and found a first aid kit that fit in that space.
