Hi, can anyone advise me how to decifer the factory build date for the car using the chassis/frame number ? mine is 1C3APE9L35X058889. All advice welcome !

Look on your door sticker and write down the MDH****** number. Post it on here. I will need all six digits after the MDH. Also look in the upper right hand corner of the door sticker and post the month and year printed on it. Then I will be able to tell you.

 

Hi, thanks, I dont seem to have any stickers on the doors, where should they be? I wonder if UK spec cars dont have these stickers,

The sticker is not on the door itself, it is on the body in front of the rear wheel when you have the door open.

Thanks for that good link, Yes I confirm mine has no stickers there ! I am second owner, maybe its been removed. Ill have to look see if theresw another, maybe under the hood. Thanks for your help on this, Ill come back to you if i find it! In the meantime I am assuming that mine was number 58889 of the production line ( allthough Im supprised they made that many!)
