What about the Kemah boardwalk? They have a garage there and also restaurants.

A little heads-up for you. The last two GTGs have both attracted rain, so good luck with the car wash.

There is also a Starbucks at Kemah next to the Roller Coaster
and if the weather is good enough, there is always a car show going on Saturday evening just the next light down the road! It would be great to line up our cars there, Next to the mustangs and Vettes. they would love to see us out there Im sure!! Cause when Ive been there they always make me feel welcome. It usually wraps up around 9, Then there is also a Great place with out door patio called TBone Toms, W/Lots of picknick tables and room for us all. and a live band on saturday nite..... Just my suggestion...

Ben, about what time are you getting there? I will try to be there by 9 but you know I'm coming from College Station. As long as traffic is ok I will be there on time.

i know i looked again and what would you know 40% chance.... so it may come dirty...which i hate. its become almost habit now that every saturday morning at 7a i wake up and wash the car...no matter how late i was out the night before. because i know me, and if i go three or four weeks without washing it then that will turn into 6months and i by no means want that to happen... i'm just gonna keep my ear to the ground about the rain.

p.s. i wouldn't mind a cruise to kemah for a car show....except for that whole rain thing...

Well you guys/gals have fun, I will not be able to make it. Although I will be teaching a sailing class and the boat is next to the Kemah boardwalk. BTW I got my first oil change yesterday 6200 miles. Mister Car Wash on Kirby did a great job. They said they do a lot of Crossfires and knew how much oil, the type (Mobile 1) and even knew the filter. So I was impressed, took about 10 minutes, $88.02. Somebody please holler if you go to the boardwalk, maybe I can come say hi.

Come on it's worth it. I am coming from College Station. An hour and a half away. Last time I went down I had a lot of fun and met a lot of good people. Then again gas is $4.06 a gal. Oh well, you only live once.

I'll likely do the Boardwalk, George. If there is a car show there...they surely need to see a couple of XFires.

Hey Jay, I'm counting on seeing your HID light setup again...so I can copy it.

When I left at 11:00, there were still 3 members still there..
Are you sure you didn't go to the one at post oak and westhiemer instead of where we meet at post oak in uptown park?
