The way I see it, a black Crossfire with Fritzauf's wheels, and chrome" header" side pipes would be a "dynamite" combination.
RickZ, Punkin, are you paying attention?
FP you're the man, and your car looks great with the pipes too.

You would just love to get me started wouldn't you
I can't tell you how many times I have "studied " that picture of Fritzauf's wheels.

+fireamx... Why did you have to do that?? I love the hood scoop and the pipes, but now may have to do some mods to mine... Not sure about the pipes but the scoop is a must!

By the way, I loved the sound clip! If only our Crossfires would sound that way. If they did, I think the value of our cars would skyrocket!!

15 year old's opinion:

This one definately seems more fitting than the first one. A lot cleaner looking. My opinion on the first one is that it's going a little too "hardcore" for a somewhat "metro"-looking car. I would love to see a set of these^^ on one though.

I say forget the side pipes. Have six pipes come straight out of the side fenders. I'm not talking those stick-on ones that you buy at WalMart either.

The ones coming out of the side are more in keeping with the 40's - ish styling of the car.

Bigpapa, I know what ya mean. I think a Crossfire with side pipes would probably sound similar to Roy's car in this video:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=l2qOUa5iOnc
I was there that night the video was shot, and even though it doesn't sound like a "big block" Vette, it was pretty radical just the same.
By the way, I'm glad you liked my scoop. If you need any info on the scoops fabrication, just PM me.

Attached are some interesting "pipes" shots I took at today's Barrett-Jackson preview opening. Perhaps just a little too "radical" though....

Metro looking car? Smokey, this is what a "Metro" looks like.

FP, I hate to bother you this early in the morning. But could you photo shop these rocker panel moldings from this 69 AMX onto Fritzauf's car?
This is what I originally thought about doing. Thanks!

Wow! That is one sweet looking exhaust, and functional too.... The shorter distance and insultating keeps the exhaust much hotter, and thus exiting faster.

It looks great on a black car..... if only I had an unlimited flow of money coming in.
