Default Tow Alarm Light??

The tow alarm light blinks rapidly and doesn't stop when I lock the car - is this normal?

Cool Re: Tow Alarm Light??

Yes....it indicates that the alarm is activated.

If it's blinking without the alarm activated I think that means you have the towing part of the alarm deactivated. Try pushing the bottom of the button and see if your light goes out. I didn't think it stays on, I always have to push it to deactivate the towing alarm. Read your owners manual for additional info. Maybe there is a fault in the switch or sensor?

And I can verify that it works...I've had it go off multiple times on the trailer behind me...getting better at remembering to disable it

Default Tow Alarm Button Inoperable

I have a 2008 roadster and the little rocker button on the console that is supposed to deactivate the tow alarm is only operable in one direction, I can only press it on the top rather than the bottom. Is this how it is supposed to work?

I've never noticed a light on it. If I forget to push it and jack the car up the alarm works. OUCH!
