Default Question about curb weight...

What is the actual curb weight of a crossfire coupe? I know that the SRT-6 is supposed to weight a bit more, but is there any difference in the curb weight (and I suspect there is) between the base and limited models? Thanks in advance!

I am not sure how to read that though. Does that mean that the curb weight of the base is 3010 lbs and the limited is 3061?

Thanks again.

Yes that is correct.

I have a base coupe and put it on the scales at the local track.

When I subtracted the weight of the ten gallons of gasoline in the tank it was just a few pounds over 3000 Lbs.

Add maybe 100 Lbs. for the SRT6 for the supercharger, plumbing, intercooler and extra power accessories (power/heated seats, better audio system etc.) over the base coupe.

At last years Solo Nationals, my base coupe went across the scales at 2897lbs.

That's with less than a 1/4 tank, lighter exhaust (saves maybe ~10lbs?), and lighter wheels (maybe ~20lbs total)...and with loose stuff like the jack and the compressor pulled out.

Sort of off the subject, but did we ever find out if all of the 08's were roadsters? I believe somebody posted that as fact on the forum.

My SRT 6 without me in it was 3,070 pounds with a 1/2 tank of gas.
