Seat belt warning light stayed on
Seat belt warning light stayed on
Had my car replaced the heated seat elements on both bottoms from a dealer. Now that the seat belt warning light stays on all the time, while the warning sound is gone as well. I guess they messed up the sensor connection when fixing the seat. Should I bring it back to the dealer, or does anyone know if this is a easy fix I should fix it myself to avoid creating more problems from the dealer? Thanks.

Re: Seat belt warning light stayed on
interesting. i took my car in for the seat heater and after two days, they told me that they had ordered the wrong kit; they had actually tried installing the wrong one. now, if i don't put on my seat belt, no warning light and no warning sound (no complaints).
after a month, they finally got the right heating kit. it is going in on friday and they told me it is going to take 2 days(?)
wish me luck...
