SLK32 AMG side skirts on a crossfire. My project is stalled BIGTIME. PLEASE HELP
The following photo illustrates what in my opinion would be a super bad *** mod. Crossfire with SLK32 AMG side skirts. I already have the Startech front spoiler in the pic so that is done. Now I cannot find a place that sells the 2000-2001 SLK32 side skirt. Everybody has the lame 2002-2003 side skirt which does not have as pronounced a cut in it. As you notice the "cut" in the rear of the side skirt matches almost perfectly the "X" in the fender of the Xfire. Its a match made in heaven.
YET I CANNOT FIND THE 2000-2001 SIDE SKIRT, ONLY THE 2002-2003 COPY. If anybody can help me find an original set or copies of the 2000-2001 part please PM me or post in the thread. Its the last piece of my exterior mods I'm missing.
Here is a pic of the finished product I photo chopped onto some dudes badass SRT6.

I've been to two dealers here in Fairfield county and they won't sell them to me without a VIN number. Ridiculous!!!

Sweet, thank FP! I'm going on Ebay now, the VINs should be in the listing I suppose. For carfax reasons.

If they can't get it - they could point you in the right direction.

Yep, eBay... I've done that numerous times! They never ask if it's really your car, guess they figured you wouldn't buy parts for something you stole
Agreed, that and the spoiler are really bad a** together!
Good luck and post pics when done!

Don't know if it helps but this site might have them.http://www.formymercedes.com/mb_resu...ieger+Body+Kit
Good luck with your project Mayaman! Sorry I couldn't provide any help, but I'm guessing that Crossfire owners who are actually RESIDING stateside would be of better help than me (being all the way out in Korea and all).
If worse comes to worse, you can always go the same route as I have... Rieger!
Take care my friend.

The kit PN is: B6 603 6056
You can find it at http://www.mercedes-amg.com/index2.html and look under showroom, accessories, slk-class, br 170.
By the way, your photoshop looks like the side skirts on my 2004 SLK32.
