The race results are in. We did it last night. I forgot my camera so no pics unfortunately. it was gettin dark anyways so pics wouldn't have been great.

The Acura:

I made us proud. I had a pretty good launch and stayed ahead the whole race. I'd say I completed the qtr mile 1.5 seconds faster... (rough estimate)

As for the Mustang...

We were neck and neck off the line but after 2nd gear, he pulled ahead... he won by probably half a second... Still.. not bad for a stock '04 XF with it's moderate HP.

I enjoyed the airport but I really love the drag strip so much more due to the luxuries of timers and speed detectors and all that good stuff.

Yeah I had a bad feeling about it before the race even began. We'll see if there's a difference once I get my chip and CAI.

You should've seen what the 'Stang did to the Acura.

That's surprising. I would have thought the NSX would have taken you out. Good driving then.

yeah man for sure. the rsx's are ehhh. i raced and rsx type s off a role and from a stand still. of a role it was from 40 to 110. psh couldnt touch this. i was ahead the whole way. and offa role we were even until about 35 then i pulled ahead. and just to let you know the 3000gt's arent anything special either. my buddy has a sl with cold air intake and 3in magnaflow exhaust. i stomped his @ss too lol. but keep up the good work man. im hopin to get a turbo kit soon. we'll see how that goes.
