Default Looking for a shift-****...Mercedes-Benz?

Does anyone know of any 6-speed mercedes-benz shift ***** I could get my hands on that are compatible with an '04 coupe? Even if it's not mercedes, just show me what you guys have in your car if it's diffrent from the regular one. I don't really want to spend more than $80 for the shift **** and boot if neccesary.

Thanks,
Louie K.

This one cost about $160, which was way more than I wanted to pay, but I'm glad I bought it. It fits your hand really nice and with a stick shift your hand is on the shift **** much of the time.

I placed the order for a Prestige Shift **** order to fit a 2002 SLK230 from PerformanceProducts4Benz.com.

http://www.performanceproducts4benz.com/

$142 + $18.95 = $160.95

I just checked the web site and it's $189 now, thanks to the weak dollar.

This shift **** is a nice improvement!

No Instructions come with the ****, here's what I did.
  1. Squeeze boot base and lift up.
  2. Unscrew gear shift retainer under the boot.
  3. Pull up to remove shift **** and remove boot from ****.
  4. Place new retainers on boot, then place on gear shaft.
  5. Press new **** on gear shaft. It should not turn if its on far enough.
  6. Screw on retainers and reset boot base.
Here's the thread with more installation photos.

We offer a MOMO shift **** in leather/Carbon Fiber. It is a direct bolt on and is well in your price range. Here is a link: http://www.tvtdesign.com/chrysler_cr...srt_6?start=10
