New Owner - 2007 Base Coupe
Just purchased a new 2007 base coupe and couldn't be happier. Finally hit the point in my life where a 2 passenger car is somewhat practical. Due to the outstanding resources on this forum made a great deal. How do you compare a crossfire to other 2 seat sports cars - at well under $20K? Thanks to all.
If you try to compare a NEW Crossfire to any other NEW sports car for 20k or less, it's a "One" horse race. It's the only game in town. It has no competion.
If you're willing to accept a "used" car at under 20k, then the 350Z, Audi TT, Boxter, BMW Z4, and S2000 would all be considered competion. (If you can find one old enough, or high milage enough to be purchased for under 20k)
But at 20k or less, I personally would much rather have a "NEW" Crossfire over any of the above mentioned "used" sports cars.
The Crossfire is the most unique (I feel) and does nearly everything a sports car is supposed to do as well, or better than some of the more "refined" cars. About the only department the Crossfire suffers, is in acceleration. Due to it's "high" gearing more than it's lack of H.P., so unless you wanted a drag racer you bought the right car.
Welcome to forum.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Congrats on your new ride. I have a 2005 Roadster in mint condition that had 7,600 miles on it. Cost, $20,000. I love it. Drive safe and enjoy your new Xfire. Patty
Welcome aboard, jbohr1! Good luck with your new XFire! I just purchased my 2005 yellow Roadster about a month ago, and I just love! It only had 6000 miles on it, and I scooped it up as soon as it arrived on the truck. Then I took it for a ten day test drive and decided this was the perfect replacement for my Corvette.
I hope you enjoy your XFire as much as I'm enjoying mine!

I think that is a good price. The XFire is an excellent car and you will not regret buying it.
Run a CarFax on it first to make sure that is hasn't been flooded or in any major crashes.
Good luck!
