I'm under the assumption that pre-ignition in a modern car would be tuned out buy the cars electronics. What I mean is the ignition timing would be retarded when the knock sensor heard the pinging. Doesn't do anything for performance but it eliminates the pre-ignition. It still leaves the problem of getting more fuel to a boosted engine.

You know, I was just thinking that about the guy asking about making headers, SODAMHOT. Probably not. Just struck me that way for some reason. Not that I care. Just shooting this thread to the stars. Long live Maverick!!!

This just in... Electric Super Chargers are AWESOME, It works sooo freakin well with my turbonator. You wouldn't believe the amount of horsepower that these two things add. Not to mention the Magnet I put on the bottom of my fuel tank I'm getting more horsepower and 40 mpg. Freaking un-be-lievable.

What, why???? We've finally got new people joining the forum. I figured the new guys would want to know how awesome electric superchargers are. I mean how else can you get a n/a to haul *** like a SRT? ;-)

ps... I've been around long enough to remember seeing this when thread started lol.

I had an electric supercharger in my kia sephia and it was way too fast for me to handle, i had to take it out. It is sitting in my garage now and every time i look at it, it scares me and i run inside the house.
