Question Alternative to Cargo Magic?

OK, I'm tired of my California Car Duster and my Jelly Water Blade rolling around in my Crossfire's trunk. The car is so devoid of unpleasant noises, that the sliding back and forth of stuff in the trunk is driving me nuts. When I went to Chrysler.com to look at what they offer for cargo storage accessories, all they have is the Cargo Magic - which is an over-priced floormat with velcro "walls".

I wish they had put one of those cargo net pockets in the trunk area instead of behind the seat.

There's got to be a better solution. What is everyone else using?

You can buy a nice trunk organizer at walmart for under $10 and it is black. It folds up when not in use.

I stash my water blade where the first aid kit goes.

Oh yeah when going out for Poker...a bottle of jack goes there nicely too of course the carpet won't go down then but keeps the bottle from sliding around.

bump! Has anyone used this mat system consisting of four "corners" that would nicely hold items in place!

Here is mine and so far it has worked out great. I have reorganized and added a bunch more stuff in there since the pics were taken:

James1549, I sincerely apologize. Yours is the solution I was trying to point to. It is nicely done, and I figured it would help the poster.

Age, and memory loss, SUCKS!!!

Yes but this wouldn't work for everyday trunk usage. i.e. groceries, shopping, etc... This is nice for items that are always carried with you.

Thanks for pointing those out. I had already read all the threads on organization topics and decided something like the carpet magic would suit my needs.

I wonder how the "velcro" holds up after moving the blocks around over time to create the walls needed....

I put my copy of James' solution with my spin on the same message. Props to James for his idea - it really does work well for me too.

No problem guys, I'm glad to help out with ideas to help others - I get plenty of great ideas from this forum to help me out as well.

Purchased the Mopar Cargo Magic a month ago and LOVE IT! its discreet, clean, and works! It's also very flexible as you can reconfigure the "corners" to accommodate your load/cargo.

I purchased Andrews old Cargo Magic, (of course it was in better than new condition when I got it from him)
I used the velcro "corners" to hold an old plastic milk crate (that I carry all my detail stuff in) while I toured the Dragon 2 weeks ago and it worked great.
It may be expensive, but Tom....I think you're worth it.

LOL, thanks Mike. I should just bite the bullet and buy it. But there's sooooo many go fast parts I need to buy!

Yeh! What are those two clip hooks on either side of the middle pocket behind our seat for as well as the 4 T-***** in the four corners of our trunks?...
