What do you pay for insurance?
I am looking to buy either a Coupe or an SRT. My uncle, who drove the SRT then decided on an '06 Corvette, says his agent gave him a similar price on the SRT and Corvette. $1400 per year, full coverage. Anyone care to share their SRT and Coupe insurance rates? I'd love to get an SRT, but don't want to get dry-love from my insurance company.
I'm 31, married, home-owner, squeaky-clean driving history.
Thanks!
(PS...I used the search, found nothing)

Check out this thread that I started back in December when I bought my 04 Crossfire. If it's not going to be a daily driver, you could probably insure yours in a similar way. The last post in the thread has the information you need.

Hard to say what I pay for the crossfire since we have both cars on the same policy, but for what it's worth: my policy went up by about $300/year 100k/250k full coverage. And yes, I do live in Harris county, but insurances go by zip code not only County.

with full coverage including PIP/UnderInsured/Uninsured/ etc etc...
However, I have already broken the 30 year barrier

that is a case of small town v large city.
tampa is has the same problem as houston... a high number of uninsured drivers. which causes rates to go up for when they hit you.
the small town comment was not meant as a bash in anway just stating fact.
ntrikit - The question you ask is a bit irrelevant. Not trying to be a smart *** but what one person pays for insurance doesn't mean you could get the same rate. Insurance is based on many factors, age, driving record, married or single, multi policy and multi car discounts, accident history, credit score (better know as your insurance score) short mileage, long mileage, liability limits, deductibles and a bunch of other stuff so its not relevant what others pay unless they live in your zip code and have the same situation as you.

Yes totally agree with patpur, it depends on lots of factors. However you can compare the quotes between different insurance companies.
Try go for the internet based insurance companies if you really want to pay less. I'm using esurance, and it cost me about 30% less than farmers and states farm, and 50% less than AAA.
