Default Question about TVT250

I was wondering how this would affect my n/a crossfire's warranty and, more importantly, what would happen when my dealer plugs the car into Starscan.

Also, what is a realistic quarter-mile time with this versus the TVT250+? Install times and exactly what differs would be great, too.

Hi badseed1,

your warranty shouldn't be effected.
The ecu tune will be invisible and unless someone pulls your fuel rail nobody will know.
in regard to the modified air box on first inspection it will appear standard, and i do believe that even if they know about your modified intake it is legal and above board and cannot effect your warranty
regards
Steve

Warranty will not be effected, but keep in mind if for some reason anything goes wrong with your engine they will look for even the slightest modification and try and pin it on that. I've heard horror stories of warranties not being covered due to a stereo installation.

It all depends on your dealer.

With that said this will not have a negative impact on your engine and there should be no reason your engine would fail because of it.

Install time is 2-3 hours depending on how fast you get the injectors in.

Stevieb was correct about everything being pretty stealth.

Of course we will do the install. Depending on what you would like to get we may be able to finish it in a day for the TVT250, when the TVT250+ is released that will be a 2 day project.

We start moving onto our new property this weekend so we will be taking more cars in the coming weeks.

omg are you serious? If someone touched my car without permission, I would have to kill them, let alone back up into me.

That seriously sucks, DS. What's the damage? Hopefully they have insurance...

It was pretty much a hit a run, i have no idea who hit it. All i know is the car must have been white because there was white paint all over it. There where a bunch of scratches and dents in the front, but I pretty much took care of them all except for one spot where the paint wore off. Im going to try some touch up paint just to cover up the black plastic on the bumper. It either happened at the dealership or the other location of the store i work at, so im going to see if the dealership has cameras tommorow, and maybe find out who did it. Needless to say, they wont have a windsheild when I find out who it was.
