Default When I set the alarm can I make it beep?

Hey Guys,

Right now when I set the alarm the lights flash but no beep. I was wondering if there is a way to make it beep.

Amazing! - I used the search tool and typed in "Alarm + Chirp" and the forum kicked back these results:

Hope this helps you out.

Thumbs up Re: When I set the alarm can I make it beep?

Here's a link to a simple cheap way to get a tone alert when you lock or unlock, and set the alarm. You can do this for less than $5 and a little wiring. If you do a search I understand that you can also replace the siren with a different one for around $70. I think that my way is easier, and it is almost free.

Thanks Corfire,

That is exactly what I was looking for. Sorry that I did not search. I did not know asking a question could get so touchey.

I'll jump in here.

This forum is the best set-up informational auto forum around.

It's just that new folks seem to have a tendency to register and start asking questions of members that have chewed on the same issues over and over. It just shows that they didn't "look around" first.

I still won't answer my children about how to spell a word if they haven't tried to look it up in the dictionary first.

OK, NOW you can call me an a$$hole!

My siren was replaced under warranty, now 3 short beep/chirps and the lights flash 3 times when I set the alarm.

On disarm it beep/chirps 1 time.
