I traded my 04 crossfire in april for an 08 in april for the same color. My 08 is currently being serviced at the dealer. I get a call from the tucson police saying they found an 04 crossfire that belongs to me in a parking lot with no plates and the windows left open. I explained to the police that I dont own that car anymore that I traded it in. They said it was still in my name and it was involved in a serious crime!! So I jumped in my rental that the dealer gave me and headed over to the dealership thinking they may have stolen my 08 from the dealer. It was 1130 pm and there was about ten cop cars at the dealer. They verifyed that my 08 was still there thank god. They would not give me any info on what exactly happened other then they found it and it was used in a crime. They took my name and everything down. Considering My name is still on that car I am now linked to some serious crime that I dont even know of.

Get this a week after I bought the 08 the dealer has some nerve to call me to inform me that The mechanic that was reconditioning it took it for a drive and blew an engine seal "what ever that is" and the engine started smoking. And that the 04 was sent to auction.

I dont even know what to think about this. Im going to pick up my 08 tomorrow that already Been in service 3 times in the 3 months that I have owned it for the same issue. They replace a different part each time. The driveshaft, the axels, and Now they replacing the wheel hubs. If its not fixed this time im going to look into the lemon law.

This experience with this dealer has been a nightmare!!!!!

A blown engine seal? They can keep that car. Stupid mechanics peeled out of the shop with my xfire once, they didnt know i was watching.

 

sue them. have them give u another car. they cant be taking your car out and destroying it, thats not what u signed when u gave it in for service
