Default Leather seat problem

Ouch! damaged the leather seat on the passenger side. Is it fixable? Anyone know how to fix or protect it? Thanks.

Looks like it's just a scratch.
I don't know about all the detailing stuff out there, so with my VERY limited cleaning knowledge, I would say start with some leather cleaner, and then conditioner - which hopefully you do on a regular basis. In the past I have used shoe polish to blend the scuff marks.

Yeah had that happen to mine, sorry to say it was my own DAM_ Fault !!!
Tryin to find a grey leather dye just to put some color back into it. I don't know that there's anything else you can do about the " freyed " edges.
Sucks, I know !!!

Jackei,
I found this website while looking for info on convertible tops and checked out the shop. The place is run by a husband and wife team and real friendly and helpful. Maybe you could have them take a look and get suggestions on what to do. I am not endorsing their services other than they are helpful and real friendly, you'll have to make a judgement for yourself.

I actually never use any leather cleaner or conditioner to clean the seats since they still looks clean and new. But I guess I'll try some of those products.

Don't expect much out of a leather cleaner/conditioner for a problem like this. You've scuffed pretty deeply there, pulling the upper layer of material away in places. You may minimize the appearance at the edge of the least impacted portion, but you won't fix/hide/repair it with a leather cleaner/conditioner.

We recently had Color Glo refinish a leather couch and chair. They did an excellent job at making the leather look like new again. It was an interesting process to watch as they actually sand the leather with 400 or 600 grid sand paper to open the pores in the leather.

Check out www.colorglo.com to see if there's one in your area. They work on leather just about everywhere i.e. cars, planes, boats, etc.

Actually the furniture had faded badly from sitting in a room that faced south and had no window shades. They did have a few minor scratches that came out with the process. I think you'll probably need some die to fix that scratch.
