Lighter? The C6's weigh only 3200+ lbs, about the same as our SRT's.

Nice choice! I hope to make the switch someday (far away) as well. You can get a base 'Vette for damn near 40 grand with the employee pricing right now!

yes, the employee pricing is nice...sped up my decision for sure...I actually got about $800 under employee price.

Same here except I didn't get a vette. Still love the SRT6, but I did get a new 08' Avalanche LS for $24,375.98 after the employee pricing(-$3754.02), cash rebate(-$5000), and chevy loyal coupon(-$1500). That's over $10k below sticker($34,630). You can't go wrong getting in on these deals. This truck was $3500 less than I paid for an 07' Avalanche when they first came out in late 06'. First a great deal on the six, now this. Have to make the best of a bad economy.

Passed on a 2003 Twin Turbo ZO6 a few years back for $38k, was pretty sure I would kill myself with that car. Still love the vettes though, congrats. Be sure to let us SRT6 guys what that runs in the 1/4 mile.
