I have a 2004 Limited Coupe, as from monday i have noticed a clicking noise when changing down a gear with the tiptronic.. its really annoying, it doesnt happen all the time, but it normally happens from 3rd to 2nd or 2nd to 1st, its like a loud click or metal tapping sound, help ?

The onlly thing I can think of is to raise the car and check for play/noise in the u joints etc.

Could be the rear differential I just had mine replaced under warranty. See my posts on the subject.

Baclk to the dealership, the noise is still the same and it isn't something that I like.
