Does The Crossfire Have A Rival?
Do you think the Crossfire has a rival car? we all know about the BMW M's Vs Mercedes AMG's, Ford Vs GMH, and so on. But does the crossfire have a rival? maybe Crossfire Vs Mercedes?

Thats so true +100
I agree that the XFire seems to be in a class all it's own. As far as any rivals
Don't think there are any. Considering styling, engineering, drivability, perma-grin factor and price, the XFire stands alone !

Not saying this because we obviously all own one, but the only cars I think are better looking then our crossfires are the supercars e.g. Lamborghini, Bugatti's, Maclarens, Ferraris not even the Porches match a crossfire visually. Just today I was following an E46 M3 and I honestly think the Crossfire looks much better. Sure performance might not be matched but I tell you what the SRT-6 is a force to be reckoned with not much will keep up with it and thats without mods
As mexico63 said the Berea 3200 is pretty close to the Xfire but I think it's a fair bit more $$$ wise and it's an Alfa I dont really see an Alfa as a sporty type car
it's like having a Volvo or Saab lol.

That being said, I would buy one if the price was right, as long as it's the Redline..

Both the Pontica and Saturn version interiors are subpar vs. the Crossfire. This car has one of the best interiors of any Chrysler I've been in. It reminds me of my old 450 SLC.
They are rivals according to MSN Autos.
- Audi TT - similar dimensions
- Infiniti G35 - This one is debatable
- Nissan 350Z - 2 seater, similar fast back round end, similar dimensions inside and out
- Saturn Sky - 2 seater roadster siliar dimensions
- BMW Z4 - roadster 2 seater, slightly different sizing though.
- Mazda RX-8 - This one is debatable
- Pontiac Solstice - Same as Saturn Sky
- Ford Mustang - This one I don't agree with
- Mercedes-Benz SLK - Come on, our cars are based of this, how is it not a rival or the same thing?
- Porsche Boxster - 2 seater roadster, if you include this and the Z4 though you should also include the s2000 which is getting farther and farther from similar dimensions
Audi TT and 350Z for sure.
After watching an episode of Top Gear where they compared all 3 in Iceland (I think it was there, maybe Greenland), I can see why these would be placed in the same class. Crossfire is definitely cheaper than both though.
Also I can see why the Solstice and the Sky would be rivals with this car.

I think the Crossfire has more "bullys" then rivals...because lets face it.. as cool as the Crossfire looks, any car can kick it's butt performance wise.. (besides the SRT..)!
Again this obsession with 1/4 mile performance rears it's ugly head. Why must this one single talent that seems to elude all NA Crossfires, be the one thing that objectifies them in the eyes of some of our so called Crossfire brethren.
40 years ago, some of the fastest cars at the Drags were of the "Pony" car variety. And yet it wasn't unusual for some big old, (big cubed) full size Pontiac GP, Olds Starfire, Buick Riveria, Buick Wildcat, Chevy Caprice, 427 Galaxy, or some light weight small block Dart, Nova, or Falcon would come along and spank em every now and then.
But when it would come down to which car would you rather drive home, especially if you lived on the other side of the canyon, well I don't know about you, but give me one those Trans Am competitors.

Agree, when you ask for rivals I gave you cars that have similar dimensions, similar seating, front engined rear wheel drive and performance SIMILAR to each other.
