Default Aftermarket Stereo Installation

Hello...

I have a 2005 Limited Coupe and I am interested in installing an aftermarket stereo headunit. I've looked around the forum and found pretty good step-by-step instructions posted by mattpolantz. I am wondering if there are any "gotchas" with this vehicle when doing this? Can anyone confirm for me that they have accomplished this with their 2005 Limited Coupe? I am extremely concerned about screwing up the electrical system of the vehicle.

The only thing you really need to do is make sure you reverse the red / yellow wires from the harness (if getting the VW harness).. and make sure you turn on the amp turn on wire to get sound (pink from the harness, blue/white usually from the headunit)

Thanks, nox1s. I'd much rather do this myself than pay some ridiculous amount of money to have someone else do it. I've installed several units in other vehicles, but I know that the Crossfire is and will be the most complicated I've ever dealt with.
