what is your monthly payment?
Re: what is your monthly payment?
well, you are 19...which is just a couple years under my youngest son...so I won't say anything other than a parent surely was with you when you purchased your ride....cause around here, you paid too much for the car and the interest rate is ridiculous....but at your age, I quess you are lucky they loaned you the money on your own...now if a parent co-signed for you...then shame on them...but hey, you have the best car going and it will get the girls....and old guys like me....we just write a check...

Re: what is your monthly payment?
My brother and I purchased our cars together last week for $17,000 for a 2008 limited coupe manual and we put down 4,000 down each so we financed $13,000. I got an interest rate of 5.99& by my self being 23, and my brother who is 20 needed a co-sign and was able to get 8.99. My payment is like $256 a month and my brothers is like $276 a month. My car has 50 miles on it and my bro has 35 miles on his.

don't get your shorts in wad my young friend...if you liked the price and willing to pay for it with your hard earned money, then good for you...us old men just like to "deal" on cars....you know, get the best price....glad you are happy...but sometimes the younger generation gets taken advantage of...sounds like you are happy with your deal...but you asked the question...we old guys just responded...

Zero payment, wrote a check for $15K or so for my 05 SSB limited 'vert with 15k miles. You can do that when you get older. LOL. Also wrote a check for the new wheels/tire's. Haven't caught me yet for wriitin' them checks! They must have cleared the bank by now! At least you are eshtablishing your credit which is a good thing, just don't be late on the payments!

Re: what is your monthly payment?
thats is a good interest rate 4.99% which bank did you go with on that. i was looking at the srt 6 but man i got a deal i could not pass up on a 08 limited and figured that with such a bargain it will save me on depreciation when i go to resell. i am already planning my next car purchase around 2013 a nissan GT-R used ofcourse lol.

16k w tax base 07 with 10k on her. 300ish a month i believe my car blew up in front of the dealer so i was just trying to get out of there and make it to work on time . it's a hell of alot more fun than driving a 2001 yellow aztec with 160k on the od. that car was birth control on wheels .

$35,000.00 with 6yr. extended warranty. Looked at financing. Looked at what the bank was paying me for my money and paid with a cashiers check. 06 SRT-6 with 60 miles. And I blame this forum for paying too much!! You guys got me in a frenzy for one of the few 06's. But I love the car at any price! No regrets whatsoever.

My first car loan, way back in the late 80's, was at 19%! I think the banks have a special rate for teenagers. I was lucky to be able to sell it (Audi 4000S) after a couple of years and have enough to pay the outstanding balance.
Don't beat yourself up on the price you paid. I don't think you paid an obscenely unreasonable amount, and you have a lot of car for the money! Kudos to you for not chasing the typical teenage dream of a hot rod civic.
