Default Goodbye--It's been fun!

Well yesterday was the day I said goodbye to my Xfire after just over 4 years. Car was still flawless, hated to see it go but in the end could not roll a 'beater' just to keep the xfire. With the baby here it just was not practical for us and we needed something safe.

I want to thank everyone here for a great forum. I'll still stop from time to time but this is a farewell post.

I picked up a 2006 IS350 with Navigation, sport package, and 26k miles. It is glacier frost mica and has black interior. I ended up trading in the xfire (unfortunate) I know, but ended up getting 11k for the trade which is better than the 8k they are going for at the auction, so having a super clean car does pay off.

I'll miss all you guys that have helped over the last 4 years and change.

Take care.

Doug

Sorry to see you go but having a baby and a Crossfire will not work unless you have a beater so we understand, good bye and good luck...

Thank you. Yes the two don't mix that well and as much as I loved my xfire, I love my daughter more! And let's face it the IS350 isn't too shabby ;-)

Good luck with your new car. Family needs come first. God bless.

Don't be a stranger and stop by and say hi when you can.

Sorry to see you go. Good luck to you and the family in the future. Maybe someday you will be able to come back to your extended family here. The price will keep dropping for a while I'm sure.

Good luck Doug and maybe someday you'll come storming back with an SRT-6!

Whatever you're in:

drive it like the Queen is riding with you. My traffic habits sure changed when we had our first.

See you soon?
