Default Hmmm... N20, or no N20...

Okay, well I'm currently waiting on shipment on a TVT 265... and one of my friends pulled the 75-150 dry shot ZEX kit out of his 70's tempest... only want's 300 for it... WOT sensor and all.

So here's my question, would you do it?

and also for those that are knowledgeable on the topic, If I have the TVT 265 kit, will I need to be looking at an aftermarket fuel pump or something because of the already increased fuel flow? Is a dry shot even a good idea in the M112 engine?

This will/might be my first experience with N20...so just need some advice from those who know more than myself

a dry shot is a bad idea on any engine. If you already added the 40+ hp from tvt, adding more on top of that without modifying any other driveline components is a bad idea too.

So far it's looking like single jet Wet kit 50 shot with a bigger nozzle (what Jerry from LET reccomended) so about a 40hp usable shot. opinions?

most newer 6 cyl cars can handle a wet 50-75. That's probably the safest way to spray it without going nuts.

It has been a long long time since I took Chemistry, but I'd swear it is nitrous oxide which is NO2, not N2O. I could be wrong. I am getting old.

Yep it has been too long. I'm 99% it's N2O, because NO2 would be Nitrogen-Di-Oxide. Nitrous Oxide means it has one... covalently bound ion...

Not being a smart@$$, just checking.

dry shot= BAD

wet shot= less bad

Either way bottles are for babies and you'll be crying when you run out at the track before your next race.

I built up my buddy's 5.7Hemi engine(heads/cam/intake/exhaust/ECU) for him and he decided to throw a 125 wet shot on top of it after I told him to stay away from it. One day he was playing with it on the street and under juice he backed off(fast)and got rite back into WOT and BAMMMMM!!!! He ended up mushrooming his cone air filter, blowing his plastic intake manifold into two pieces, frying a couple spark plugs, bending one pushrod and snapping another pushrod in half. After wasting all that money buying the kit and then buying all the new parts and paying me to reinstall/fix everything he decided nitrous wasn't his cup of tea.
