Here is a thread on how to replace TPM batteries, it is not specific to our sensors but I am guessing the principal is the same. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-t...batteries.html

Stogey - yes they purged them, had them off the rims to put on my new wheels back in late March. By contrast over the weekend I asked my wife if she has checked the pressure in her tires on the Mercedes and her response was "I thought you did that kind of stuff?" so I went up to check them, they have plain old air, 1 year and a half with no checks, hot and cold weather and all four were perfect, same as when we bought the car. Now why can't ours do that?

I think I figured out why my light won't go out. DUH!
I've still got summer air in the tires! Forgot to swap to winter air.
I figured that since I live in Arizona that I could run the summer air all year round.
Too lazy to change it now. I'll just wait till next year. Maybe the light will go out then.
Anyone know when summer officially starts?

^^^BTW, I hope that was sarcasm, I recommend you put sarcasm in a different font just to point out your joking. In the United States and the rest of the northern hemisphere, the first day of the summer season is the day of the year when the Sun is farthest north (on June 20th or 21st). This day is known as the Summer Solstice.

tighed1 - That must be it, I got spring air in mine so when winter came over the weekend, bingo!
Hopefully on Friday I'll take it up to the dealership where my son works and get it taken care of.
