Next time, try a heat gun

Inferno, I did the same thing only in black....just having it redone. I run a grille for racing and a stock grille for show. The black racing grille is cut out more to allow for more air to pass thru...

well, I went ahead and ordered the one on ebay that Riot and Punkin have. I really do like that pic of the grille painted the same color as the car, so if the front gets banged again, I think that this will be the way to go. Thanks for everyone's input, it was great to hear everybody's ideas. BTW, I have the Conti M+S tires on mine, and they seem fine in the snow, not as great as snow tires, but really not bad. I put a 50# sack of salt in the back and the handling was improved 50%. It still slides a bit but tracks better and gives more confidence on the road. I was planning on snow tires, but now I don't think so. I think it'll be fine. Mark

Did you order the billet? They are very easy to install and look great.

I did, progress was too slow, cutting it off was quick and fairly easy. No damage done to anything either, as barbaric as taking a grinder to your grill may sound.

The horizontal ones look pretty cool but I still like the overlays better.

IN THE INTEREST OF JUSTICE, I SHOULD POINT OUT THAT I DID NOT BUY THE MESH GRILL FROM KARL (SRT SIX). I BOUGHT IT ON Ebay FROM A CHINESE COMPANY THAT IS LOCATED IN CANADA AND HAS A WAREHOUSE SOMEWHERE AROUND SAN BERNARDINO.
REPEAT SO THE E-MAIL GOES OUT, I DID NOT BUY THE CRUMMY MESH GRILL FROM KARL (SRT SIX) I BOUGHT IT ON Ebay FROM SOMEONE ELSE.

Thanks, Karl (SRT SIX) is a stand up guy, and easy to do business with. He doesn't sell inferior products.

It did sound barbaric. I'm glad everything worked out...you must have surgical hands and skills
