Hey guy's I'm trying to drum up some renewed interest in the xfire club, and thinking about a GTG for this Saturday, at about 3 in the afternoon. We thought about the Thirsty Parrot in Monaville, one, because it has a large parking lot, and two, because there is a guy interested who comes from Brenham. Any other suggestions for a meet are welcomed, so we can talk, and see where (if at all) we want to go with this. I for one am still keen, so let's try it and see what happens.

What ever happened to the Houston Crossfire get togethers????

 

That is what I was trying to find out when I started my thread. It seemed that they had happened, but that they petered out due to Ike and various other things. We seem to finally be getting some activity.

Anyone that is interested in a GTG with the CTC guys, we are going to meet Sunday Feb. 8. You have probably already seen the other threads.:P

 

I was trying to organise an outing this saturday, to discuss the club, but can't seem to get any comittment, or alternative suggestions.

I think Saturdays are good for a GTG. I just bought a xfire in October so I would like to see some mods in person before I invest. There is a lot of info in the forums but hands on is way better. This Saturday is probably to close to get some people there so what about next Sat? Have to start somewhere and let the word get out. Lets get it going.

 

I will be heading for the Parrot in Monaville this sat at 3 ish, and one other (ex?) member has said they will show up.
Anyone else please feel free to join us if you can make it, and maybe discuss details for a regular meet somewhere

Sounds cool I will try to make them both. What does CTC stand for? Also what are the details for the location in La Grange?

LOL, funny, we've all done it. All this Internet lingo can get crazy, new terms all the time. On a side note, that would be a heck of a drive from Tennessee, lmao.

 

Sorry I missed the GTG. My gf wanted to go to the last weekend of the car show. I will make the trip next weekend for sure. Here are a few of my favorite picks from the show.

 

Cool cars, I like car shows and of the pictures I think I like the R8 the best.

 

The GTG with CTC seem cool. I was thinking more of in town, in Houston, kind of get together

Well, the intent IS to get an in town Houston meet. Although there is not much headway being made getting everyone together on it yet. This is kinda a CTC GTG, but we are trying to get Houston to come too, that is why we are centralizing it La Grange. The more Houston cars that come the more we can discuss a local meet.
