Rear-window louver
Anyone ever thought of doing something like this?:

Never seen one with that on here. Could look good. To each his own, but whenever I think of louvres, I think of early '90s Trans Am and Camaros in the Dairy Queen Parking Lot.
Looks nice but I bet it would block out the radio reception. Had those on my Datsun Z. Yes that was years before the name was changed to Nissan Z. I've been on this planet for a while...Squirrel Crusher
I used to have one on my Datsun 240Z, and while it was a godsend here in southern TX (blocks off heat and sun, and kept nosy neighbors from looking into the hatch), it tended to 'flutter' and I hated that I had to screw it into the hatch.
Considering the small size of the hatch window, and IMHO, the enormous blindspot, I wonder if it would further block off even more of the rear view for the driver.
ALTHOUGH....I DO like the 'smallish', flatish look of the photoshopped louver (the old ones would make the cars look like a rooster's comb)...wonder if some wunderinventor can figure out how to make one of soft rubber that can be attached even temporarily, like a plastic (sorry for my lack of semantics - not an engineer). Having one that you can stick on and off might be something someone might be interested in, almost like an external sunshade for the rear glass.
Just a thought...

One of my best friends has them on his original 75 280Z and on his perfect 70 Mach I. It's true they are sort of "Dated" but then so am I, and I really don't think your photo-shopped Crossfire looks that bad with them.
As was mentioned by "Blaiseshimmer", it's remarkable how much cooler the interior is with them. (Could save some ware and tear on your A/C.)
The aluminum louvers my friend has on his Z are held in place by a hidden bracket the simply slid underneath the chrome trim mldg at the top and bottom of the window. No drilling holes needed
Louvers also came from the factory on the 1977 Hornet AMX I had, and I don't remember them interfering with the rear visibility that much at all.
I guess since the "Creator" was thinking about the mid to late 60's Mustang and Corvette when he designed the fastback for the Crossfire, "vintage" or "period correct" mods to the Crossfire (to me) just don't look that out of place on it.
Here's a photo of what my Hornet looked like:

Wow, lots of louver hate around here
. I wasn't going to get any installed, but I was watching Mecum auto auctions the other day and one of the cars had a louvered rear window. Just sparked my curiosity is all.
I wouldn't think it would interfere that much with visibility, as long as the fins were thin enough.

Well, at least one well respected "Exotic" sports car builder known around the world must think they still "fit in" the 21st Century.
Besides, what's a "roadster owner" know about Louvers anyway.
