I bought my Crossfire new in January and I haven't received any luggage. I don't even know what you guys are talking about. The dealership didn't mention any of this to me, am I missing something? How can I get this if I am entitled to it?

Maybe it doesn't come with a "base" car. I don't know for sure, but I am sure someone who has another base car will let you know.

Hey man, don't sweat it. Go to K-Mart, and for about $150 you can practically duplicate it. Only ours will have those "tiny" XF wheels on them.

Besides, You got a "Darth Vader" version of the Crossfire at a really good price. Nothing wrong with that.

I'm pretty sure the luggage doesn't come with the Base model. Check your window sticker - if it has "Touring Gear" listed on it, then you get the luggage. If it doesn't, then you don't.

Yup, it was confirmed that if you didn't have "Touring Gear" on the sticker, you are not getting one. I too have a black base coupe. I checked my sticker and sure enough, no Touring Gear".
My salesman promised I'll get the set when I purchased the car. I am not holding my breath, but will see what kind of excuse he will come up with.

I think that was from the promotional literature for the '04 models, all of which were LTDs and thus included luggage. The base model didn't come out until '05.

If i remember correctly, the brochure i got from Chrysler about the xfire mentioned that the touring gear was only standard for the limited and srt models... i have to go home and check (if i can find that brochure)...

edit>>

CONFIRMED... the luggage or "touring gear" does NOT come standard with the base models...

I found it on chrysler's site... i can't link to it properly so for now you have to take my word for it...

http://www.chrysler.com/crossfire/compare.html

Click the crossfire comparison link, then click the additional options tab... The "Touring Gear" will be listed...

Is there anyone you can contact about this luggage? My dealer seems to know nothing about it...I didn't buy the car new so the luggage is probably long gone by now.

The luggage is sent directly by Chrysler to the first new car owner, as reported by the dealer. If you bought your car used you would have to buy the luggage from someone. There is a slight difference between the Limited and SRT6 sets, primarily SRT6 logos, but both consist of three pieces, the two smaller ones can fit inside the large one for shipping.
