Question Seat modification for a tall guy

Hello everyone, I took a test drive of a crossfire the other day and decided I want one, except there is one problem, I'm 6'4" tall and 230 Lbs. In case you hadn't guessed, I really can't fit in the thing very well, Even with the seat at it's lowest and pressed against the back. I was wondering if I could modify the seating any to give me some more leg and head room. I don't need much more room, just an inch more headroom and maybe one or two more legroom. I was thinking of bolting the chair directly to the floor and back, and maybe cutting the bottom and back down some too. Has anyone ever tried this? Thanks.
