Default Flywheel help

I own a 2006 crossfire. Lost clutch fly wheel at 3000 miles. Pulled apart, found dual mass flywheel(****). I understand that the 2004's and 2005's do not have the dual mass fly wheel. I would like to have some information on retro fitting these flywheels to the 2006 version. Those who say that the drive train from 2004 to 2008 are alike are full of ****. TEAR EM UP BOYS

I hope I don't find out the hard way like you did. What makes you think the earlier years have a different flywheel? D-C used the older SLK as the base and when the SLK went from 3.2l to 3.5l, they stayed with the older version. Did you check part numbers?
